Guest ticket reservations are closed.

You may still reserve a spot for yourself without guest tickets if you...

  • are an Undergraduate Student who has met graduation eligibility requirements
  • have submitted an Application for Graduation by the appropriate deadline

OR

  • are a Masters Graduate (except M.F.A. candidates)
  • have met Graduate Division's requirements for graduation (Check with Graduate Division for your eligibility)

Download and print your own reserved guest tickets.  Please return to this site beginning Tuesday, May 21, 9 a.m. to download/print your guest tickets.

Name Cards will be distributed at the ceremony.



Ticket Details

Guest tickets are free and must be reserved by the graduate in advance.

Guest seating is assigned - all tickets have a Section, Row and Seat location.

All family and guests attending joint undergraduate and masters ceremonies held in the Bren Events Center REQUIRE TICKETS FOR ENTRY.
(Exception:  M.F.A. candidates participate in the Graduate Hooding ceremony.)

You can change your accommodation requests for your guests any time before April 12 at 5 p.m.

 

  • How and When are Tickets Reserved? »
  • UCI students can log-in to reserve tickets if they have met the graduation eligibility requirements AND:

    Undergraduates – have completed an Application for Graduation by the deadline set by your school. Status of your application must be either "approved" or "received."
    Masters Graduate Students (except M.F.A. candidates) – have met Graduate Division requirements for graduation.  Check with Graduate Division to verify your eligibility.

    Ticket reservations closing date is April 12, 5 p.m.  You will be able to print your tickets electronically.  We will publish the link to register/download your tickets beginning Tuesday, May 21, 9 a.m. You must complete the guest ticket reservation process before it closes in order to print your guest tickets.

  • Number of Tickets Each Graduate Can Reserve »
  • The number of tickets each graduate can reserve depends upon the size of the graduating class in each school.

    An estimated maximum number of tickets for each ceremony will be provided when you reserve tickets. After ticketing is closed, a final determination of tickets available will be posted in the reservation system. You must complete your ticket reservation before reservation period ends. Ticketing closes on April 12, 5 pm (pacific time)

  • Ticket Distribution »
  • Ticket distribution is electronic.  Each graduate will print own tickets;  register/download your tickets beginning Tuesday, May 21, 9 a.m. at the link that will be provided at that time.  You will download your tickets at the Anteater Online Marketplace.

    There is no ticket distribution at Commencement Ceremonies.

  • What if I can't print my own tickets? Can someone print them for me? »
  • You will have plenty of time to arrange for printing of your reserved guest tickets - remember, you must register on line before ticketing closes and reserve guest tickets, up to the maximum allowable, for your ceremony.  If you reserved guest tickets, log in at the Anteater Online Marketplace beginning Tuesday, May 21 at 9 a.m. and select guest seating/print your tickets electronically, subject to availability.

  • Will I Get Good Seats? »
  • All seats in the Bren Events Center are good seats.  In addition, there are 2 large screens behind the stage for optimal viewing for guests and graduates.

    Wheelchair, difficulty walking and ASL seat/tickets are pre-assigned.  Please indicate if a guest requires wheelchair, difficulty or ASL seating while you are reserving your tickets.
