Ticket Reservations Are Now Open and Will Close on April 26th at 5 p.m.

You can reserve tickets now if...

You are a UCI undergraduate student who has met graduation eligibility requirements
AND
you have submitted an Application to Graduate by the appropriate deadline.

Commencement reservations are made through the campus portal, ZotPortal, and only take a few minutes. At the end of the reservation process, you will be asked to print your name recognition card, which is required to pick up tickets at Senior Send-off Week, and for admission to your ceremony.

You will be required to complete the Career Center survey before we will release any tickets to you at Senior Send-off Week. Go to ZotPortal to check on what you need to do before picking up your tickets.

Once inside ZotPortal, you should see the "My Commencement" portlet, which will guide you through the rest of the process. If you don't see the portlet, you can add it by clicking on "Add Content" in the top right corner.

 

Ticket Details

Guest tickets are free and must be reserved by the graduate in advance.

All family and guests attending undergraduate ceremonies held in the Bren Events Center REQUIRE TICKETS FOR ENTRY.

  • UCI students can log-in to reserve tickets if they have met the graduation eligibility requirements AND:

    Ticket reservations will be from April 6 to 15, online via the button below. You must complete the reservation process during these dates in order to receive tickets. Ticket reservations will open as follows:

    Schools: Reservation start times on Monday, April 6 (PDT):
    Social Ecology, Nursing Science
    10:00 a.m.
    Arts, Biology, Engineering, Humanities, ICS, Physical Sciences
    11:00 a.m.
    Social Sciences
    12:30 p.m.

    Ticket reservations close on Wednesday, April 15, 6:00 p.m. (PDT).

  • Number of Tickets Each Graduate Can Reserve »
  • The number of tickets each graduate can reserve depends upon the size of the graduating class in each school.

    If extra tickets for specific ceremonies are available after the first round, there will be a second round of ticket requests from April 20 to 24. An email will be sent to you with availability information. You must complete the first round during the week of April 6 to 15 to be eligible for the possible second round of ticket reservations.

  • Tickets are distributed when you pick up your cap and gown during the Senior Send-off Week at the Phineas Banning Alumni House, June 1-5. Bring your ID and name card print-out with you. Hours are:
    (6/1) Monday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    (6/2) Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
    (6/3) Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
    (6/4) Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    (6/5) Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

    There is no ticket distribution at Commencement Ceremonies.
